The 2018 Knock Out Cup promises to be a dynamic affair when the Wolverhampton Wolves return to Manchester to challenge the reigning KOC champions Belle Vue on Easter Monday at 12pm.

The two sides clashed in last year’s grand final, with the Rentruck Aces emerging victorious, but they are destined only to repeat their incredible battle in this season’s Quarter Final stages.

Paul Starke makes his Rentruck Aces’ debut in place of the injured Damian Dróżdż, and it’s a busy one at that with the return fixture at Monmore Green scheduled for 8pm that same day.

After triumphing over Swindon in the home leg of their Charity Shield clash, club No.6 Dan Bewley says it gave his side a useful early-season confidence boost to get their momentum going.

He said: “I always look forward to any meeting against Wolverhampton because we can always count on a challenging match, whether it’s at home or at Monmore, with each encounter.

“You can never know what to expect from any team at this point in the season because everyone’s still getting back into their racing. On paper, though, they appear a very strong side.

“Even without Freddie Lindgren, I think we’ll have to work for every point but it’s those types of meetings that are the most exciting because the result of each race is varied and unexpected.

“We’re quite capable of matching them shot for shot. Even though we won’t have Damian with us, the team is in a good place. We’re feeling fresh and we’re all starting to find some decent form.”

Tickets for this meeting are available via the clubs official website,, or at the ticket office on race day for fans wishing to purchase on the day.
