Belle Vue travel south to Peterborough on Monday, July 15 hoping to max out in front of the BT Sport cameras in the first of two significant away fixtures this month, where victory is paramount.
The Rentruck Aces have enjoyed plenty of good fortune at the East of England Arena this season, a run they hope to extend against the Panthers when they roll up to tapes tomorrow evening.
A win by more than 6 points would put them back on top of the Premiership table, and with joint-second placed Ipswich in action at Wolverhampton they have added incentive to perform big.
The home team are missing their main man Hans Andersen, after a horrifying spill earlier this month, but have moved to secure the temporary services of Erik Riss to bolster their side.
And after calling on Nikolaj B. Jakobsen to guest for the injured Tero Aarnio, Jaimon Lidsey says his side are confident they can do what needs to be done: “We need to make sure we enjoy ourselves.
“It was a good result for us against Ipswich. We bounced back in anger after the previous week against Poole and all the boys are starting to really feel the hunger to get into the play offs again.
“A lot of our remaining fixtures are away so we really need to start picking up some points if we want to stay in the top four. But we’ve already proved we can do that at Peterborough this year.
“I know I need to step up my game a little bit but I feel like I’ve made some good progress and as long as I keep going as I have been I know I can do my part to help the boys out on Monday. “
Action in Manchester resumes on July 22 when the Cool Running Colts face the Isle of Wight. Tickets available online at www.bellevue-speedway.com, and at the stadium box office on race night.
