Colts Eye KOC Finals

After successfully booking their place in the 2019 National League Play Offs, the Belle Vue Colts have their eye on a spot in the Knock Out Cup Final as they prepare to face Cradley in the semi-finals.

The Cool Running Colts make their way to Monmore Green this Monday, September 16 before returning home for the second leg at the National Speedway Stadium on Wednesday, September 18.

And they take a full contingent to the Black Country, where they’ve already tasted the success of a win this season, while the Heathens find themselves short of a handful of their regular riders.

Connor Coles comes in at No.5 in place of Danny Halsey (injured) while the club will also operate R/R for Tom Spencer (injured), and James Chattin substitutes for Sheldon Davies (injured).

Team boss Graham Goodwin said: “Having finished our league fixtures as strongly as we did, the lads will definitely be targeting a big performance at Monmore Green and will no doubt want to win.

“We’re on a good run of form both at home and away right now, and that has really boosted everyone’s confidence and we want to keep that momentum going for as long as we can.

“We’re safely into the play offs but the lads are just as keen to win the KOC trophy and, given our previous visit to Cradley, they will definitely fancy their chances of repeating that result.”

With the Aces home fixtures now concluded for this season the Cool Running Colts take control of the National Speedway Stadium as they look forward to their KOC semi-final against Cradley.

They face the Heathens this Wednesday, September 18 while, having consolidated their place in the play offs, they wait to find out the remaining three qualifying teams each vying for the 2019 league title.

Tickets for their home meeting are now available online at, or at the stadium box office on race night.
